Do away with the sophisticated machine printed bedspread that gives an artificial cover to your home. Brace the centuries old tradition of hand block printed Kalakyari Bedsheets where artisans still use the natural dye available from vegetables.
The vegetable dyes of Yellow (from turmeric), Red (from madder root) and Blue (from Indigo) are obtained after processing respective ingredients. Once the dye is ready, wooden blocks are dipped in dye and stamped to the Bedsheet set by select Village artisans who have inherited this art from their forefathers. Needless to say that the entire process is machine free and environmentally sustainable.
